Jan Margaret Beebe, 78, of Port Huron, died Friday, November 22, 2013 in her home following a long illness.
She was born March 5, 1935 in West Orange, NJ to the late James A. and Dorothy (Burker) Milliken. She married George Beebe on April 12, 1955 in Amarillo, TX.
Jan was a very generous person who volunteered at schools and numerous organizations in the Blue Water area. She was a member of Port Huron Yacht Club, enjoyed sailing and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, George of Port Huron; son, James (Becca) Beebe of Grand Haven; daughters, Kathryn Beebe (John Kuehl) of Port Huron and Nicole (Louis) Schmidt of Clyde; grandchildren, Thomas (Kristin) Beebe of Kalamazoo, Aaron Beebe of Grand Rapids and Daniel Beebe of Grand Haven; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Kuehl, Connor Schmidt and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following Jan's wishes cremation will take place with no visitation or services.
