William O Warsinski

William O. Warsinski, 98, of Port Huron Township, died on Thursday, January, 2, 2014.

He was born June 2, 1915 in Port Huron, the son of the late Max C. and Bertha Warsinski.

Mr. Warsinski was a graduate of Port Huron High School and was employed as an inspector with the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, retiring in 1976. He loved taking care of his family and was a member and president of Hope Lutheran Church in Goodells.

He is survived by son, Kent J. (Karen) Warsinski of Palm Bay, FL; granddaughter, Jacqueline D. Hinkle of Port Huron Township; and grandson, Raymond B. (Coney) Warsinski of Smith Creek; three great grandchildren, William Warsinski, Jimmy Hinkle and Dylan Hinkle; and two great great grandchildren, Darian and Riley Hinkle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2014 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 in the funeral home. The Reverend William Otten will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Warsinski, William Warsinski, Jimmy Hinkle, Dylan Hinkle, Dale Mamps and Jason Wagar.
