Joan Watson

August 10th, 1937 to October 22nd, 2008






Joan

M. Watson, 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 22,

2008 after a short illness.

She

was born August 10, 1937 in Port Huron. She married William Watson

on August 28, 1954 at St. Stephens Church.

Joan

was an avid bowler She enjoyed gardening and flowers, photography and

traveling to Mackinaw City with her husband. Throughout her

lifetime, she attended St. Joseph Church, St. Stephen Church and

Guadalupe Mission and spent a lot of her time praying for others.

She

is survived by her husband, William; children Terry (Eddie) Hubbard,

David (Wendy) Watson, Raymond (Cathleen) Watson, Stephen Watson and

Charline (Ronaldo) Ramirez; 10 grandchildren and 3 great

grandchildren; brother, John (Mary) Lewandowski; special friends,

Virginia Martinez and Nina Masar; special cousins, Bernadette Andary

and Elice Bryce; God Child, Kyle Robbins and God Child and niece,

Betty Ann Daft; nieces Bonnie Curley and Julia Bliss; numerous

cousins.

She

is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Evelyn Lewandowski

and her sister, Gail Wehrwein.

Funeral

services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The

Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher of Holy Trinity parish will officiate. Her

ashes will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.

Visiting

hours are 11 a.m. until the service time Saturday.
