Beverly A. Maxon, 80, of Port Huron, died Friday, March 6, 2015 in her home.
She was born July 30, 1934 to the late Orville and Hazel Morden. She married Melvin L. Maxon on May 10, 1952 in Indiana.
Beverly loved to quilt. She enjoyed camping, gardening and caring for others.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin L. Maxon; daughters, Carol (Art) Garcia and Jan (Benny) Birtles; sons, Loren (Tammy) Maxon and Rodney (Lizz) Maxon; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Pauline) Morden and Ron Morden; sisters, Linda Penn, Ruth Haas and Elaine Cumeralto.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visiting from 12 Noon until the service time. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
