David Harold Klais, 53, of Port Huron, beloved lil’ brother, uncle, and great “Unc”, left to reside among the angels on Monday, August 31, 2015.

He was born May 24, 1962 in Detroit to the late Harold K. and Elaine M. Klais.

David was a 1980 graduate of Marysville High School, had a love of music, crafts, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He enjoyed playing various instruments and was certified in the art of Beerology. He loved comedy and was founder of his own “uncadilic card company”. He was a sports fan, tournament bowler, coffee connoisseur, caregiver for his mother, and always had a contagious laugh. He was a true blue moon who left this world too early.

David was a godfather two times over, who was loved fiercely. He left a hole that will never be filled and will be missed eternally.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Marie Klais-Kuehn, brother, Gregory M. Klais; cousin and godfather, Glenn Lewsick; nieces and nephew, Kristy, M. Scott, Becky, Karlee, and Heather; and many great nieces and nephews.

A private family Mass will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements by the Karrer Simpson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
