Pearl Senyk, 89, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Milford, Michigan.
She was born December 19, 1926 in Lexington to the late Henry and Velma Wideman. She married Mike Senyk in 1949 at Bowling Green, OH. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1993.
Pearl was employed at Prestolite for many years and was a member of Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Altar Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3702.
She is survived by her son, Michael J. (Marsha) Senyk of Milford; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Wideman and Phil (Mert) Wideman, both of Worth Township; and her sister, Genevieve Johnston of Fort Gratiot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike and two sisters, June Phillips and Joan Delgotto.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Senyk will lie in state at Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
The family prefers that memorials be made to Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
