Sylvia McMullin

Sylvia McMullin, 80, of St. Clair died on Sunday, June 5, 2016 in Blue Water Hospice Home, Marysville.

She was born December 30, 1935 in Oakmont, PA to the late Louis and Pauline Fabec. She married James E. McMullin on March 30, 1954 in Burnside, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2008.

Sylvia and her husband moved from Piqua, OH to St. Clair in 1986. She was a very active member of Grace Ministry Center where she was a founding member of the J.O.Y senior group. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Doug) Wilson of Burtchville and Rita (Doug) Merchant of Union, KY; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Adele) Bell, Ryan (Amber) Bell, Eric (Joleen) Bell, Austin Merchant and Mara Merchant; 6 great-grandchildren, Jason Jr, Liliana, Gabriela, Alexandria, Mackenzie and Caleb; brother, Joseph (Sally) Fabec; sister, Mary Ann (Dean) Carnahan; and good friend and neighbor, Betty Lotze.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Russak.

Memorial services will be held at the Grace Ministry Center, Kimball at a later date.

Sylvia’s family requests memorials may be made to the Grace Ministry Center or the Blue Water Hospice Home.

Sylvia’s family would also like to thank and acknowledge the staff at the Blue Water Hospice Home for the passionate care she received during her time there.
