He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Mae Canaan Turk; his two sisters, Gertrude Turk Konen and Florence Turk VanDyke Kelly; and his brother, Francis Turk.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. His son, the Reverend Jefferey L. Turk, will officiate.
