Elice A Bryce

October 13th, 1935 to April 5th, 2017

Elice Agnes Bryce, 81, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

She was born October 13, 1935, in Detroit, to the late Henry S. and Mary C. Ganhs.

Elice was a 1953 graduate of St. Stephen High School and attended St. Clair County Community College. After graduation, she joined Michigan Bell Telephone Company and gathered experience in other positions, retiring from Women’s Life Insurance Society.

She was a member of Women’s Life Fraternal Club 611 and held all offices except vice-president, serving most recently as secretary. She was former treasurer of Great Lakes International District of Women’s Life and was a past member of Eagles Auxiliary #3702, FOE, having served as trustee and treasurer.

Her life was her children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She is survived by children, Donald K. Bryce II (fiancé Michelle Zarling) of Fort Gratiot, Todd A. (Jessie) Bryce of Jeddo, Robert L. (Amy) Bryce II of Jeddo, Steven C. Bryce (Margaret Evenson) of Fort Gratiot; grandchildren Michelle M. Bryce, Jennifer M. Mathis, Steven C. Bryce, II (fiance’ Brandi Bowman), Stephanie L. (Rob) Brown, Jessica R. (Nick) Stevenson, Amanda A. (Ryan) McKeon, Erin N. (Bryant) Sprunger, Sanborn C. Bryce (Sarah Hudson), Joshua R. Bryce (Mason Smith), Jasmine M. Bryce and Siera Lynn Bryce, Brandi Fox; Chelsea M. Oellerich, Catherine M. Oellerich, Alaina-Janae Bryce and Matthew Zarling; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jeanette Zimmerman of Croswell, John Jonseck of Clearwater, Florida, Jim (Jackie) Jonseck of Greenwood, Delores Jonseck of Fort Gratiot, and Gary (Vickie) Jonseck of Lake Worth, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends.

A family gathering service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements by Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Blue Water Area Humane Society.
