William C. Cluney

William Clayton Cluney, 79, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, May 27, 2018.

He was born January 16, 1939 in Havana, Illinois to the late Floyd Eugene and Flossie May Cluney. He married Carolyn A. Bleau on October 8, 1960 in St. Joseph Rectory.

William served in the United States Navy and worked for the U.S. Army at Selfridge ANGB and TACOM for 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cluney; two daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Berels and Sheila Randall; and three granddaughters, Katherine and Christina Berels and Emma Randall.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.
