James E. Gaffney, Jr. 55 of Port Huron, died March 15, 2011 unexpectedly in his home.
He was born February 3, 1956 in Port Huron and has been a life long area resident.
James was employed at the ARC of St. Clair County where he took pride in lawn cutting. He enjoyed music and loved life.
He is survived by sister, Mary (Ron) Nunez of Port Huron; sister, Helen McMillan of Roscommon; sister, Carol Stevens of South Carolina; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Brooke, Sheryl, Trish and Steve.
He was preceded in death by his parents James E. & Agnes (Cleaver) Gaffney, Sr.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Gagnon will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nunez, Jr, Scott Nunez, Randy Nunez, Craig Nunez, Kyle Wesch and David Wcisel.
Memorials may be given to the ARC of St. Clair County.
