Norma Ledebuhr

Norma Ledebuhr, 91, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 24, 1919 in Capac. She married Lee Ledebuhr on September 17, 1941.

Norma helped Lee operate their family farm for many years. She was a lifelong member of Zion Community Church and served the church in many capacities including Church Treasurer, Organist and Sunday School Teacher. She was a 4H leader and also served her community by volunteering on the election board and was also a member of the Farm Bureau. Norma's favorite hobby was sewing. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lee Ledebuhr; children, Richard (Evelin) Ledebuhr of Bath and Carol (Frank) Duquette of Capac; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother, Wilbur (Ila) Cook of Marlette and many nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her children, Nancy A. Simpson and Robert L. Ledebuhr and her brothers, Dwight and Ron Kampe.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Zion Community Church in Mussey Twp. The Rev. Dale Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in the Evangelical Cemetery. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers

Visiting will be held in the Zion Community Church on Thursday from 3-5 & 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service time.
