Jennie Bauer

Jennie S. Bauer, 88, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on May 1, 2012.
She was born March 9, 1924. She married John L. Bauer and they celebrated 58 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2008.
Jennie was a hard worker. She was employed at Prestolite, Riverside Metals, Winkelman's and Kmart. She also enjoyed taking care of her home, cooking and gardening. She was a life long member of St. Joseph Church.
She is survived by her son, John (Ann) Bauer of Marysville; daughter, Rosemary J. (Rick) Nelson of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jason Bauer, Andrea (Mike) Boucher, Justin Bauer, Benjamin Jordan, Joseph (Katie) Jordan; great-grandchild, Marlie Jordan and several nieces and nephews.
Jennie was preceded in death by her four brothers.
Funeral services will be 10 am Friday, May 4, 2012 in St. Joseph Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Visiting will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9:30 am until the service time Friday at church.
Jennie's grandsons, Jason Bauer, Justin Bauer, Ben Jordan and Joe Jordan will serve as pallbearers along with Mike Boucher and Rick Nelson.
Memorials for Jennie may be made to St. Joseph Church.
