Albert H. Gobeyn, 67, of Port Huron Twp. died May 3, 2012 in his home unexpectedly.
He was born October 26, 1944 in Port Huron. He was a graduate of St. Stephen's High School and later served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at George Innis Menswear for 22 years. Al enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Gobeyn; sons, Robert A. Gobeyn, Rene P. Gobeyn, and Randall G. Gobeyn; daughter, Melissa Walters; grandchildren, Madeline E. Gobeyn, Gabrielle Gobeyn, Arianna Gobeyn, Liam Gobeyn-Jakacki, Bethany Walters and Jacob Walters; great granddaughter, Kayden; and life long friend, Richard Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marion Gobeyn; sister, Roberta Gobeyn and uncle, Howard Gobeyn.
A Memorial Service will be 7pm Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate
Visiting will be from 5-7pm Monday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
