Frances B. Bachler

Frances B. Bachler, age 89, of Clyde died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 following a short illness.
She was born January 17, 1923 in Port Huron daughter of the late Tobias and Barbara (Koern) Dazer. She was the 10th of 15 children.
Frances married Leo F. Bachler on August 28, 1948 in St. Stephen Catholic Church and were married for 61 years. Leo preceded her in death on January 12, 2010.
She enjoyed playing euchre and going with her husband to Arizona during the winter months. She loved to bake especially her cinnamon buns and coffee cakes.
She is survived by her children, Michael L. Bachler, Patrick T. (Susan) Bachler, Nancy (James) Gilan and Timothy J. Bachler; nine grandchildren, Scott P. Gilan, Brian J. Gilan, Nicholas (Jessica) Bachler, Laurie Bachler, Matthew Bachler, Erin Bachler, Lauren Bachler, Katie Bachler and Sarah Bachler; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bachler; sisters, Emma Herbert and Dorothy (Mike) Vanlerberghe; brother, Leonard (Mary Jane) Dazer and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her son Thomas J. Bachler; siblings, Vincent Dazer, Helen Dazer- Samuelson, William Dazer, John Dazer, Elizabeth Dazer, Anthony Dazer, Fred Dazer, Mary Dazer-Miller, Anna Dazer-Beeler, Peter Dazer and Charles Dazer.
Mass of Resurrection will be 10am Saturday, December 1, 2012 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate.
Visiting hours are 3-5 & 7-9pm Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9am Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bachler, Nicholas Bachler, Scott Gilan, Brian Gilan, David Dazer and Douglas Dazer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. Clair County Day Treatment Night Watch Program.
