Mary Tarzwell

KIMBALL TWP- Mary D. Tarzwell, 89, of Kimball Township, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in Port Huron Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born September 24, 1916 in Bay County, Michigan and had lived here most of her life. Mary married Orville Tarzwell he died in 1944. Her second husband Walter Tarzwell died in 1950. She was employed by the City of Port Huron from 1967 to 1984 as a parking lot attendant. Mary was a member of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Senior Citizens, Public Employees Union and St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mary is survived by daughter, Alice E. (Delbert) Paul of Kimball Twp; son, Victor G. Olvera of West Melbourne, Florida; her grandchildren, Victor R. Olvera and Toby Olvera of West Melbourne, Florida; Lori Ann (Mike) Richards of Livonia; and Roger D. (Tina) Paul of Ft. Gratiot. Several great grandchildren, great -great grandchildren and her sister Margaret Kutski of Gowan, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Julia Debie and her sister Betty Touchette. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. C. Paul Higdon will officiate. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visiting hours are 9 a.m. until service time Friday in the funeral home.
