Eugene Gary Bourbonais, II Port Huron - Eugene Gary Bourbonais, II, 41, went to be with his father on Monday, April 10, 2006 in Mercy Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 3, 1965 at RAF Lakenheath in Brandon, England and has lived in the Port Huron area all his life. He attended and graduated from Port Huron High School. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne Infantry. He owned and operated Personal Image Tattoo shop in Port Huron. He loved many things including art, music, writing poetry, cooking and classic automobiles. He especially loved his children. Eugene is survived by his children, Eugene Gary Bourbonais, III (Janice Daggett) of Marine City, Krystal T. Bourbonais (fiancee' Douglas Chitwood) of Smiths Creek, Jana Bourbonais, Jena Bourbonais and Alexandreia Bourbonais, all of Port Huron; grandchildren, Douglas Chitwood, II and Eugene Gary Bourbonais, IV; mother, Karen (Paul) Owens of Tennessee; step-father, Jim (Diana) Evans of Emmett; step-mother, Peggy Bourbonais of North Carolina; sister, Dawn Bourbonais-Monzo of Smiths Creek; brother Scott Evans of Port Huron; sister, Angela (Tim) Liechty of Port Huron; nephew, Steven Monzo; niece Stefanie Monzo; nephew, Dylan Liechty; business partner and very close friend, Jennifer Brisbois; grandfather, Eugene Leonard Bourbonais of Marysville and the many children that he took under his wing. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Gary Bourbonais, I on March 29, 2006. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. David Ballard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-7 p.m Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. A special thank you to the Reverend Dave and Jan Ballard for their unconditional love and prayers.
