Holbert 'Royce' Hunt

Holbert "Royce" Hunt Fort Gratiot - Holbert "Royce" Hunt, 86, went home to his long-awaited Savior on Sunday, December 17, 2006, in his home in Fort Gratiot. He was born July 26, 1920 in Bowling Green, KY. Mr Hunt is survived by his children, Nonie (Jerry) Stroh, Nat (Leisa) Hunt, Tim (Sue) Hunt, Roland Hunt, Donald (Debbie) Hunt, Virginia Lauth, Rebekah (Mark) Jones, Rachel (Gary) Branch, Esther (Roy) Benoit, Laurie (Dan) Givler and Eva (David) Fry. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn J. Hunt, October, 1966. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Colonial Woods Missionary Church. The Rev. Staley M. Sorrell will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Twp. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visiting hours are 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice.
