Harry C. Eldridge Sr.

Harry C. Eldridge, Sr. age 73 of Port Huron died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 unexpectedly in his home.

 He was born June 10, 1935 in St. Clair and has been a life long area resident.

 Harry married Penny M. Brennan on October 4, 1959 in Port Huron.

 He retired from Mueller Brass Co after 32 years of employment in 1995. He loved to fish, watch the freighters and spend time with friends at McDonald's Restaurant.

 Harry is survived by his wife Penny M. Eldridge of Port Huron; daughter, Robbie Eldridge of Port Huron; son, Harry C. “Buzz” Eldridge, Jr. of Port Huron; daughter, Carla Eldridge of Port Huron; son, Scott Eldridge of Port Huron; grandchildren, Patrick (Crystal) Waltenburg, Billy Waltenburg and Jay Jr and Joe Hollis. Great-grandson, Patrick Waltenburg, Jr and great-granddaughter, Cassidy Waltenburg. 1 brother and 1 sister also survive.

 He was preceded in death by his son Michael Jon Eldridge, parents Horace and Gladys (Groh) Eldridge and sister Betty Spicer.

 Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm today in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

 Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
