Robert, I will always remember the love shown by your entire family, and the joy your parents felt having you as their son. Your mother would tell my mother of her joy and happiness with you in this world. She was very proud of your accomplishments, and loved you very much. She would have been happy that I discovered your name card on the Medilodge wall outside your room. You were not there, so I went to Port Huron Hospital to see you, and brought along a photo of your mother when she visited with my family. Though you may not have remembered me, I talked of your mother, her love for you, my mother and the neighborhood. Thank you for being our special neighbor on Stone Steet. My condolences to you, Jim and Karen, on the passing of Robert. I remember how you worked so hard to keep Robert safe and secure and to do the best he could.
