Emerick Bosnak

Emerick George Bosnak, 85, died Monday, March 8, 2010 after a short illness.

He was born November 14, 1924 in Highland Park.

Emerick was a graduate of St. Stephens High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a signalman and navigator. He then went to work for Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA as a computer programmer. He moved back to this area in 1980 to be with his family.

He is survived by his nephew Mark Leo (Michelle) Wrubel and niece Kathy Wrubel, all of Marysville.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Bellow, Mary Bosnak, Eleanor Wrubel and Steve Bosnak.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home Burial will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted under the direction of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.

Visiting will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service
