Aunt Barb; I have fond childhood memories of my dad (Joe Jansen) taking us to Port Huron to see you and the family. Showing us were you guys were raised, and then stopping by “Aunt Barb’s and Uncle Bill’s” house. A time to visit, eat and play with Trish, Jamie and Rob. Such fond childhood memories!!!

For those of us left here on earth, we will miss you … but we also know we’ll see you once again in heaven!

Words of encouragement … John 14:1-3 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

I also have really good memories of living in Port Huron with my mom Terri, my grandma Mary, and my grandpa William Maurer. We lived really close and I often spent the night at your house. You were the greatest! So funny, and entertaining to be with. I remember your dog Dingo, and I used to love to play in the run out back. My mom and I would often come over to your house just to visit or for dinner, and I miss that. I remember playing your piano and organ for hours. I love you. I will see you in heaven.

All of my condolences.

Trish, Jamie & Rob, No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-bye.

Sending a gentle hug your way, to comfort you, and to let you know that you’re on our mind and in our heart today and always.

Love you, Mary Ann, Metin & Alex Dogu
