Father Paul was such a dear man. We enjoyed our little trips to the drug store or appointments he had. It gave us time to have visits with him. He definitly had a sense of humor. We will miss him Jim & Julie Carey

Fr. Paul was a very good priest and I was happy to know him during my priestly ministry at St. Mary, Port Huron.

I know this message is late but, i have been wanting to say something about our priest at mercy hospital. first of all, i want it known that i adored father paul for his personality of "mind my own business". the way i saw him was not as a pushy type person inspite of his loyal attitude and aire of reverence. somehow this is the personna of the hospital because i saw this similar frame of mind in sister jarlath. now father has been reunited with sister and i believe the angels are rejoicing at such a beautiful site. i have memories very dear about father paul, some are very personal and i will keep them to myself, yet i want to take a moment to honor such a wonderful person. now, i wait to see all who have passed and know that someday i will be at the feet of jesus with great company. sincerely mary

Father Paul will be sadly missed by the many people of the Port Huron Area. I had the blessing of working with Father Paul at Mercy Hospital for many years. He was most generous and most helpful to the many patients and employees at Mercy Hospital. Father Paul would come in any emergency regardless of time. He was most faithful in praying with patients, giving them the sacraments of Healing and of Reconciliation, and of the Blessed Sacrament. He offered daily Mass at Mercy as long as he was able. He was a very holy man, and I am blessed to have known him, and worked with him.

On behalf of the family of Betty Sullivan who had lived at Port Haven Manor until her death at 102 three years ago, we would like to extend our sincere sympathies to Fr. Paul' family. She and Fr. Paul were good friends and she, as a Catholic, appreciated his services. Always a bright smile and a nod to everyone, he is one of our great memories of Mom and her "family" at Port Haven.

I have such wonderful memories of Father Paul growing up at St. Joe's school. He was such a kind-hearted man, so soft-spoken, gentle and always had a kind word to share. He is truly one of my fondest memories while attending St. Joe's. Father Paul will always have a place in my heart. He will be sadly missed.

Kindness and humility were the marks of Fr. Paul's priesthood. Through the more than forty years that I knew him I recognized in his advice and counsel tinges of his own striving for spiritual growth to perfection. Father gave his time freely and at times to his inconvenience. It has been an honor to know him and be a friend of his.

Fr. Paul will surely be missed. He was especially kind to my family for many years. He was the kind of priest who not only was so dedicated, but who always knew what and when to say the words that helped you so spiritually. I will miss him, but know that he is so happy to be home with our Lord. GOD Bless you!
