Leo Visga

Leo J. Visga, 83 of Smiths Creek, died Friday, May 25, 2007 in Medilodge of St. Clair after a long illness. He was born November 6, 1923 in Detroit but was a lifelong resident of the Blue Water area. Leo is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Smiths Creek; son, Robert Visga of Belleview, FL; daughters, Christine (Roger) St. Gelais of Pt. Edward, ON, Diane (Michael) Fallmann of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Merry (Daniel) Thomas of Pt. Edward, ON and Martha (Daniel) Dorland of Jeddo; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice (Eugene) Melczarczyk Irene (Robert) Curtis and Leona Rosbury; brother, James (Amy) Visga and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Jeffrey Visga. Visitaiton for Leo is Tuesday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 7 to 9:00 p.m. in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Scriptural Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in St. Christopher Church, Marysville. Fr. Arthur Baranowski will preside. Cremation will take place.
