Mary M. Trescott-Norris, 55, went to a

higher plain on October 4, 2008 after a year long battle with cancer.

She is with her mother Margaret

(Enright) Trescott, her dad, Robert Trescott, brother, Charles and

God.

Mary is survived by her loving

husband Dave Norris; her son, Daniel Klinkert; her daughter, Margaret

Norris; step-daughter, Pamela Norris-Greer; step-grandchildren,

Lawrence and Corrinne Greer; three sisters, Barbara (William) Malone,

Clare Trescott (Jill Bishop) and Catherine Cass (William)

Dufrin; nieces, nephews, cousins and a network of friends across

North America that would rival Verizon.

Mary has been a Clinical Social

Worker for the past 25 years. After receiving her Master's Degree

from Wayne State University she worked for a dialysis clinic, the

University of Michigan Hospital, Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, St.

Clair County Community Mental Health and most recently for Port Huron

Hospital's Outpatient Counseling Center.

In addition to her work, she was

an author and a teacher of meditation and Light Body energy

work.

Funeral services will be 1 pm

Saturday in St. Edward On-The-Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph

M. Esper will officiate.

Visiting hours are 2-9 pm Thursday

and Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 12 noon Saturday at

the church. A scripture service will be 7pm Friday evening.
