Leola “Jan” Janet Gerlach, 80, of Clyde Township died Saturday, June 28, 2014.
She was born November 19, 1933 to the late Robert and Leola Reynolds. She married Marvin Carl Gerlach on May 17, 1952 in Emanuel Lutheran Church, Greenwood Township.
Leola was a charter member of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Janice (John) Priess of Melvin, Delores Stafford of Yale, and Marvin (Rhonda) Gerlach of Carney; grandsons, Tad Priess, George (Kristie) Stafford, Christopher (Danielle) Stafford, Jeremy (Jodi) Stafford, Scott (Jennifer) Stafford, Jacob and Jared Gerlach; granddaughters, Erica (Tom) Elkins, Heidi Priess; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, George Stafford.
Visiting will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 5 pm until the time of service Wednesday in the church.
Funeral services will take place at 7 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church. Pastor Andrew Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
