Russell J. Simpson, 67, of Applegate, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Port Huron Hospital.
He was born August 29, 1946 in Port Huron.
Mr. Simpson retired from Acheson in 2006 after 42 yeares of service and enjoyed hunting and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his wife Judi; five sons, Donald (Gay) Simpson, A.J. (Theresa) Simpson, Andy (Becky) Simpson, James Simpson, Luke Simpson; a daughter, Stephanie Simpson; a stepson, Richard (Angie) Mierendorff; a stepdaughter, Crystal Ingles (fiancee’, Robert Isaac); four granddaughters; three grandsons; and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
