Linda J Ellis

Linda J. Ellis, 59, of Port Huron, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014, in her home after a long illness.

She was born on December 14, 1954 in Port Huron to the late Jack and Donna Boughner.

Linda was raised in Port Huron and graduated from Port Huron Area schools. She was a very creative person, always redecorating her home. She loved to shop and spend time with her grandkids and family.

Linda was a wife, mother, sister and “NaNa” who loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her four children, Theodis (Melanie) Ellis, Angela Ellis and Mark Ellis and Sonjia (Randy) Davis; eight grandchildren, Annissa, Theodis and Emma Ellis, Marcus Gilson, Bentleigh Clark, Di’Mond, Da’More and Destyne Davis; seven sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews; special in-laws, Thelma Palmer, John (Jean) Ellis, and Charles (Lisa) Ellis all of Port Huron, Carol Ellis of Chicago, Virginia (Charles) Brady of Emmett and David (Jackie) Ellis of Southfield; two great grandchildren, DeAnthony Billy and Rashad Carrothers; and special friend, Connie Becker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodis Ellis and her parents, Jack and Donna Boughner. Funeral services will be held at. 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Alex Crittenden will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday, until the time of service in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
