Orabelle M. Briolat, 85, of Lakeport, died Monday, January 5, 2015 in Medilodge of Port Huron.
She was born May 17, 1929 in Bad Axe to the late Roy and Mae Armstead. She Married Frank S. Briolat on April 3, 1950 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2010.
Orabelle was employed at Walmart for over 15 years. She was previously employed at Troy Dry Cleaners and also worked for Dr. Sidney Walker. Orabelle was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her sons, Arthur F. (Elaine) and Alan D. (JoAnne) Briolat; grandchildren, Rena (Gary) Ginther, Steven Briolat, Brenda Briolat, Alan (Jennifer) Briolat II, and Bethany Briolat; great grandchildren, Zachary, Katy, Emma, Rebecca, Nolan, Wyatt, Breanna and Alan David III; sister, Mae Konesko; sisters-in-law, Ernestine (Lavern) Roberts and Beverly (Paul) Goralski; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 7 sisters.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Sparks will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeport Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, North Lakeport Wesleyan Church or Burtchville Township Fire Department.
