Sylvia A. Lindsay, 97, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

She was born July 20, 1917 in Parisville, MI to the late Robert and Anna Susalla. She married Wilbur L. Lindsay on April 24, 1934 in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death in 1963.

Sylvia worked at Fead Knitting Mill and later at Travelers Lodge in Marysville. She was a die-hard Red Wings hockey fan.

She is survived by her sons, Robert John Lindsay and Ronald (Wallis) Lindsay; son-in-law, Noel Mickle; grandsons, Steven (Violet) Lindsay, Scott (Kelly) Lindsay and Chad Lindsay; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Cameron Lindsay, Brittni (Craig) Fenton, BriAnne (Devon) Hill, Casey Gilbert, Courtney Lindsay and Allie Lindsay; great-great grandchildren, Isaiah, Trey, Liam, Lucas, Ella, Reagan and Harmoney; brothers, Irvin (Arlene) Susalla and Norman Susalla; sisters, Alice Kosal and Beatrice (Ray) Krantz; sisters-in-law, Virginia and Elva Susalla; brother-in-law, Jack Dean; many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Tint Shadow.

Sylvia was also preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Mickle; brothers, Wilfred and Joseph Susalla and sisters, Lillian Pawlowski, JoAnn Fisher and Marie Dean.

Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
