Charleen Marie Langolf, 85, of Kimball Township, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, in River District Hospital in East China.
She was born December 2, 1929 in Saginaw to the late Alexander and Ella Somogy. She married Andrew E. Langolf on December 23, 1948 in Port Huron.
Charleen was a 1948 graduate of St. Stephen High School and enjoyed shopping and playing cards especially euchre. She loved having a good time and laughing with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Andrew; children, Charlyn (Ed) Breslin, Alan (Margaret) Langolf and Charleen (Rick) Jach; grandchildren, Louis Bowers, Brett (Katie) Langolf, Dana (Jason) Graham, Rachel White and Kelly White; step-grandchildren, Patrick Grace III, Shawn Grace and Colleen Grace; 7 great-grandchildren and brother, Raymond (Mary) Somogy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Shepherd and sister, Marie Holburt.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with a time of sharing and remembrance at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Resurrection will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Holy Trinity Parish-St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation from 10 a.m. until the service time. The Reverend Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
