Daniel Gerber

Daniel J. Gerber, 56, died Tuesday June

2, 2009 in Port Huron Hospital.

He was born June 15, 1952 in Sandusky,

MI.

Danny enjoyed many things including

going to the store for M&M's, camping, doing things with his

family, his pets, traveling, going on outings in the group home van

and hanging out with Trina.

He is survived by his sisters and

brothers, Dorothy (Carl) Sanford, Norma (George) Swartz, Lona (Rex)

McCorkle, William Gerber, Judith Gerber, Joan (Gerald) Shoebottom,

Donald (Lois) Gerber, Edna Turner, James (Linda) Gerber; many nieces,

nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins; Stone Creek Group Home

staff including special caregivers, Jenny, Holly, Sherry, Lore, Craig

and Trina.

Danny was preceded in death by his

parents, Harold and Lila Gerber.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m.

Tuesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Reinhart of

Wadhams Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in

Burtchville Twp. Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Randy

Gerber, Steve and Charlie McCorkle, Jeff Sanford, James Ward and

special friend Craig Fairman.

Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m.

until the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

C.I.S, Crawford Group Home and Stone Creek Group Home for their care,

support and love.
