Larry L. Urban, 76, of Port Huron Township, died on Friday, November 13, 2015.
He was born August 18, 1939 in Port Huron and has been a lifelong area resident. He married Joan L. Moses on May 27, 1960 in Port Huron.
Larry served in the U. S. Army and then worked at Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1977. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Lorman (Marlena) Urban of Key Largo, FL; four daughters, Janet (John) Cummins of Fountain, MI, Veronica (Delbert) Ruck of Kimball, Dorothy (James) Koebke of Kimball, and Dawn (Kenneth) Joslin of Gainesville, MO; grandchildren, Tonya and Tanya Gay, Joseph and Jonathan (Katie) Benner, Amy Rowe, Scott Cummins, Kyle Ruck (Katie Bjorgaard) , Jocelyn (Jordan) Carroll, Jamie and Rebecca Koebke and Kristina and Kacey Joslin; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; special friends, Bud and Carol Lewandowski, Butch and Lorna Bramer, Joey Brockway and many special and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan L. Urban; daughter, Sherri Urban; ; grandson, Justin Alexander Ruck; parents, Norm and Dorothy Peeling; aunt, Alice Urban; father and mother-in-law, Elsworth L. and Janet Moses and brother-in-law, Corky Brockway.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice, Old Newsboys or friends of the G. Lynn Campbell Library in Kimball.
Arrangements are by the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
