Louise Mancini

Louise R. Mancini went home to be with

the Lord on August 2, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born to Alfonso and Maria

Crespi on January 22, 1930 in Detroit, MI. She married Eugene F.

Mancini on October 10, 1953

Louise graduated from Eastern High

School in 1949. She worked as a supervisor for MI Bell. Louise

loved life and freely spread her love throughout her family and

friends. She will always be remembered for her great sense of humor

and her beautiful smile.

Louise loved to travel, play cards

with her family and friends and occasionally visit the casinos. Her

car never passed a garage sale without stopping.

Left to cherish her memory are her

husband of 55 years, Eugene Mancini; sons and daughter-in-laws,

Michael and Cyndy Mancini and Richard and Meg Mancini; daughter and

son-in-law, Kathryn and John Mackey; grandchildren, Michael, Nicole,

Kaitlyn and Kyle Mancini, Danielle, John and Jenna Mackey; brother,

Harry Crespi; sister, Roselyn Crespi; brother-in-law and

sister-in-law, Joe and Jo Mancini; special godchild, Fred Mancini;

niece, Vicki and a nephew, Steve and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her

parents and an infant son.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday

at St. Stephens Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will

officiate. Burial will follow in Mt Hope Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 6-9

Wednesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the

service time Thursday at church.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be

made to the American Cancer Society or the United Way of St. Clair

County.
