Terry Bayes

Terrance Terry Bayes, 56, passed
away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 , at home with his family after
struggling with a long illness.
Terry was born December 19, 1952 in
Port Huron the son of Stanley and the late Clara (Burke) Bayes. He
married Cynthia Cindy Conlan August 6, 1983.
He graduated from Port Huron
Catholic High School in 1971. Terry entered military service with
the Army serving in Germany during the end of the Vietnam era. After
service Terry was employed by the City of Port Huron until he retired
in April 2008 as an Operator at the Port Huron Water Reclamation
Facility.
Terry enjoyed working around his
home and building model airplanes but more importantly was a very
involved father to his daughters, Kali and Kelsey. He could always
be counted on to show his support and encouragement.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy;
daughters, Kali and Kelsey Bayes; father, Stanley (Marge) Bayes;
sisters, Barbara (Mike) Bayes-White and Lisa (Ed) Warren; brothers,
Jack (Kerry) Bayes, Jim (Kim) Bayes and Bill (Leann) Bayes; many
nieces and nephews and close friend, Daddy Dave Hunt.
Terry was preceded in death by his
mother Clara (Burke) Bayes.
A Memorial Service for Terry will be
held Saturday, September 26, 2009 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home at
12 noon. The Reverend Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September, 25, 2009 from 2:00
to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the funeral home.
