Luciel C. Benner, 92, died Tuesday,

October 6, 2009 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab.

She was born September 30, 1917 in

Flint, MI.

Luciel attended the Port Huron Area

Schools. She was employed at Winklemans for 33 years as a

salesperson and buyer. She was a member of North Street United

Methodist Church an was also a choir member there.

She was loved and will be missed by

her nephews, Richard and Rodney (Darlene) Jarvis; niece, Christina

(Steve) Kornicka; nephew, Mark Jarvis and niece, Sandra (Don)

Breckon. Also surviving are her brother-in-law, Robert Jarvis, many

grand nieces and nephews and 3 step-daughters.

Luciel was preceded in death by her

husbands, Ollie Wright and George Benner; three sisters and a

brother.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m.

Saturday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Pastor Bill McBride of

North Street Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in

Lakeside Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 6-9 p.m. Friday at

the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are

requested to Marwood Nursing and Rehab Building Renewal.
