Jeanne

McIntosh Brush, 88, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in hospice

care at MediLodge of Port Huron.

She

was born in Port Huron on January 16, 1921 and graduated from St.

Stephen High School and Wayne State University. She married

William H. Brush in April, 1942 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Galveston

Texas. He died in November, 1970.

Jeanne

taught in Port Huron area schools for 26 years, belonged to several

educational societies, and was a life member of Mercy Hospital

Auxiliary.

She

is survived by four children; Sarah Jill (Charles) McCraig, San

Antonio, Texas, William H. Jr. (Dee) Brush, Port Huron, Stephen C.

(Lyn) Brush, Port Huron, and Patti-Jo (Brent) Baird of Canton,

Georgia.

Also

surviving are thirteen grandchildren; Bradley T. Lashbrook and Traci

Lashbrook, William H. Brush, III, Jody Brush and Kevin Brush,

Jennifer Fuge, Stephen Brush, Jr., Christopher Brush, Adam Baird,

Courtney Baird, Megan Baird, Tyler Baird, Hannah Baird and

eight great grandchildren.

Preceding

her in death were one brother, Joseph K. McIntosh and her sister,

Lucretia Woods .

There

will be a memorial mass in celebration of her life at St. Stephen

Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at a 10:00 am with

internment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may visit with the

family at St. Stephen Church from 9am - 10 am prior to the memorial

mass.

In

lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Blue Water

Hospice.
