Elizabeth J Kinert

Elizabeth (Beth) Moak Kinert, 65, of Marysville, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Port Charlotte, Florida.

She was born December 29, 1951.

As a child, Beth attended school in Germany. Upon her return to the United States, she attended Fort Gratiot Middle School and also attended and graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1970. Beth later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Baker College.

Beth’s many interests included playing and watching hockey. She also enjoyed traveling with her two puppy dogs, Ollie and Lucy. She was also a member of the Port Huron Yacht Club.

Beth is survived by her husband of nearly 29 years, Rick Kinert; her puppy dogs, Ollie and Lucy; three children, Kim Kinert, Summer Kinert and Rick Kinert II; five grandchildren, Whitney, Brett, Austin, Nelson and Aiden; sister and brothers-in-law, Nancy Brothwell Moak, Theresa Kovach, Nancy Jo Sampier, Helen Kinert and Jim (Karen) Kinert; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Bryan) Fenner, David (Amie) Shepherd, Mary Beth Woolvett (Jess) and John Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Helen Moak, in-laws, John and Stella Kinert; and her brother, Bill Moak.

A memorial visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be in Riverlawn Cemetery at a later date.

The family prefers donations be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society and the American Red Cross.
