Edward King

Edward Dale King, 65, of Port Huron died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 13, 2017 following an automobile accident in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was born December 21, 1951 in St. Clair to the late Foster and Margarett King. He married Patricia A. Senyk on June 18, 1983 in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Edward was a 1976 graduate of Michigan Technological University. He was employed with Detroit Edison until his retirement in 2005. He was also a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed science fiction, sailing, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Patti; sons, Chris (Kelly) King, Andy King (Drew Jester) and Nick King; grandson, Gavin; two brothers, Terry (Carole) King and Brian King; sisters-in-law, Teresa (Bill) Davis, Debbie Senyk, Cheryl Senyk, Cathy Senyk and several nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his brother, Michael King; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Lillian Senyk and his brothers-in-law, Rick “Roach” Senyk and Danny Senyk.

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday and Thursday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Edward will lie in state from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
