Marie L. E. Krenke, age 85, passed away June 9, 2010.

She was born in Port Huron to the late Frank and Ora Treleaven.

Marie married Donald K. Krenke on November 19, 1946. Marie worked in the office of Mueller Brass for 8 years until 1949. She sold Avon products for 40 years. Marie was active for over 35 years as a Member and Past President of the Port Huron Museum Guild. She is a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Port Huron. She loved garage sales, collecting, cats, gardens, and Lake Huron.

Marie is survived by her husband Donald, daughter Donna Marie (Jon) Block, Sister Dorothy (late Frank) Churchill, brother-in-law Edward (Martha) Krenke, cousins Howard (Eunice) Krenke and their three children, niece Dianne (Dennis Papp) Churchill, nephews Lynn (Pat) Churchill and Lee (Nancy) Churchill, Leann (Warren) Henry, numerous Krenke nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 3 rd , 11:00am at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Port Huron. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery officiated by Reverend Bill Terry. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. John United Church of Christ, the Port Huron Museum Guild, or the Alzheimers Association.

The family would like to thank the 5 th and 6 th floor nursing staffs of Port Huron Hospital and the nursing staff of MediLodge in Fort Gratiot for their compassion and devoted care for Marie.
