Stephen R. Holmes

Stephen Russell Holmes, 63, of Port Huron, died Monday, February 5, 2018.

He was born February 5, 1955 in Port Huron to John and Beverly Holmes Jr.

Stephen attended Port Huron Catholic High School and graduated from Port Huron Northern.

He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Nathan Holmes and Matthew (Lisa) Holmes; two grandchildren, Caiden and Raegan Holmes; his mother, Beverly Holmes; four siblings, Christine (James) Allen, Teresa Holmes, Marsha (Russel) Wixson and William (Deborah) Holmes; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Holmes Jr.; and uncles, Theodore and Walter Holmes.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Deacon Tim Maxwell will officiate.
