Herbert 'Tom' Fox

Herbert Tom Fox, 79, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, September 13, 2010 in Mercy Hospital following a 2 year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 10, 1930 in Springfield, IL.
Tom loved life and people. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and tinkering on motors. He was a member of L.O.O.M. #158 and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by his fiance, Marilyn J. Middleton of Port Huron; children, Curtis (Paula) Myers of Fort Gratiot; Linda Lesh of Oregon; Steven Fox, Kathy Fox, Mark (Sue) Fox and Brian Fox all of California; Joshua (Rachael) Fox of Grayling and Richard Fox of Port Huron; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; extended family, Charles (Sherry) Middleton, Robert (Dawn) Middleton, Brian (Angie) Middleton, Becky (John) Stoner and Tim (Heather) Middleton; several brothers and sisters in-law and nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife Helen; parents, Herbert and Mary Fox; daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Deanna and loving dog Choo Choo.
Funeral services will be 11am Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 2-9 pm Thursday in the funeral home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the St. Clair County Humane Society.
