Pauline Runyon

Pauline Louise “Frenchie” Runyon, 85, of Fort Gratiot, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018.

She was born August 19, 1932 in Quebec, Canada to the late Alphonse and Olivine Abel. She married Norman Runyon on November 18, 1973. He preceded her in death.

Pauline was involved with the YWCA and various ski clubs from 1948 to 1970. She worked as a bookkeeper/typist for Sun Oil Company Limited in Toronto, Ontario until 1973, when she moved to the United States. Later in life, Pauline spent many years working at Younkers in Fort Gratiot.

She was a world traveler, living the life that most people only dream of. She was an amazing person and a friend to everyone she came in contact with. Pauline’s friends will remember her witty sense of humor and sarcasm, her zest for life, her love for casinos and her heart of gold.
