Pat 'Helen' Delaney

On Sunday, November 11, 2010 our Beautiful Mother gracefully left behind all of her human afflictions and was reunited with Paul, her husband of 52 years and her loving daughter Mary K. Pat was born in Port Huron to Elmer and Camilla Rumley on August 23, 1927. She moved to Inkster where she raised six children. Pat loved life and lived it to its fullest dealing with the many challenges dealt to her with class and dignity. God truly blessed our family giving us such a caring and loving Mother. While she may be gone from earth her love and determination is permanently etched in our minds and hearts. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Mary K, granddaughter Lisa, sisters Barbara Saunders and Audrey Park and brother Grant. Pat is survived by her children Sheila Moore, Dennis (Mary-Alice), Colleen Spencer (Mike), Terry (Sue), Margaret Barclift (Richard), son in law Mark OLeary, grandchildren Jessica, Jaimie, Charlie, Brian, Paul, Joshua, Brianna, Brandon, David, Gina,Robert and Keith. two great grandchildren Charisma and Vincent, sisters Jacqueline Jellinek (Hal), Sue Rumley, Jim (Marilyn) and Mary Rumley. A memorial gathering will be held at 9:00AM with a Mass immediately following on Thursday, November 11 at 10 AM at St. Edwards on the Lake. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pats favorite charity; St Judes Childrens hospital.
