Port Huron- Mary Della Ulrich, 88 died peacefully on February 1, 2011.
She was born March 16, 1922 in Toronto and has lived here since 1982.
Della was a graduate of the Business School at the University of Western Ontario. She taught school for many years in Ridgetown, Blenheim and Sarnia Ontario. She was a member of the IODE, OES and was very active and volunteered at Our Saviour Lutheran Church..
She is survived by her son, Neil (Cory) Simpson of Morpeth, Ontario; son, Richard (Brenda) Ulrich of Rochester; son, Roger (Diane) Ulrich of Seattle, WA ; son, Robert (Patti) Ulrich of Frederick, MD; son, Ray Ulrich of Frederick, MD. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by husbands Wilford J. Simpson on October 19, 1974, Glen A. Ulrich on June 8, 2003 and brother Robert Neil.
Funeral services will be 10am Saturday in Our Saviour Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald R. Doerzbacher will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia, Ontario.
Visiting hours are 9am until service time on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
