Patricia Hutchings

Patricia Louise Hutchings, 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She passed surrounded by her family at her home, after a long battle with Parkinsons. Patricia was one of seven children born to Theodore and Rose Rutkofske of Port Huron.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Ronald Hutchings and her three children: Cheryl (Burt) Herrick of Cheboygan; Doug (Kelly) Hutchings of Rockford; Scott (Christina) Hutchings of Richland, all of Michigan.

Patricia was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren: Haylee, Danielle, Hayden, Lindsey, Lauren, Gavin and Macy. Surviving siblings include: Robert Rutkofske, Joann (Rutkofske) Bricker and Dick Rutkofske; close sister in law Patricia (Bart) Babcock of Port Huron.

Patricia enjoyed dancing, playing cards, needlepoint and cross stitch until her illness prevented her.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home

Visiting hours are 7-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.
