Frederick John Osmer, 67, of Kimball Twp. died Saturday, June 18, 2011.
He was born August 13, 1943 and married Dana Marie Kulman on February 22, 1975.
Frederick served in Vietnam and was a member of the V.F.W. He worked as a construction worker for Local 1067 and at Super Kmart as a clerk. He retired in 1998.
He was a Chancellor Commander, and past Chancellor of the Knights of Pythians. He coached Little League and Babe Ruth. He loved camping, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dana, three sons, Tim (Lisa), John, Mark (Annie), four grandchildren, Tyler, Sheldon, Aiden, Cloe. His sisters, Judy Neumayer and Mary (Don) DeWitte, two special girls, Alexis and Chloa, several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Bouncy.
Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rose Osmer, and his uncle, Louis Fuchshafer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Babin will officiate. Military Rites will be under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Monday, June 20, 2011.
