Michael James Post Jr., 18, of Kimball Township, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
He was born September 25, 2002 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident.
Michael attended Port Huron High School and was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He will be remembered for his hugs, beautiful smile and contagious laugh.
He is survived by his parents, Tricia Post (Bill Williams) and Michael Post Sr.; his sister and best friend, Angelina; his girlfriend, Alyssa Rich; step siblings, Marissa, Jacob, Keegan and Kole Williams; grandparents, Rose (Pete) Martindale, Debora Post and Tim Sergent; great grandmother, G.G.; aunts and uncles, Tabatha Post, Jessica Sergent, Mariah Sergent, Timothy (Lindsey) Sergent, Brandon (Lyndsey) Martindale, Adam (Cassie) Sergent and Tory (Zach) Martindale; Aaron Martindale (his confidant & uncle), Zach Sergent, Tyler Sergent and Jacob Sergent; and many cousins.
Visitation for the family will be noon to 2 p.m. followed by public visitation from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Kevin Totty will officiate. The livestream of the funeral can be viewed from Michael’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
