Francis H Hoffman Jr.

Francis Harry Hoffman Jr., 71, of Port Huron, passed quickly the morning of Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in his home.

He was a fifth generation Port Huron resident, born to Francis Harry Hoffman Sr. and Wanda Hoffman on November 30, 1949.

He was the eldest of four brothers; Gregory (Rose) & niece Danielle, Steven (preceded in death) and Thomas. He was formerly married to Janis Bowman and has two sons; Francis Harry Hoffman III (Katie) and Lee Michael Hoffman (Jessica). He had great pride for his children's accomplishments and being a Grandpa to Frank & Katie’s daughters, Sophia Marie and Claire Frances. He leaves behind a dear friend Victoria Schultz.

Frank was a very proud U.S. Marine Vietnam War Veteran. It was evident he served his country happily. In 1981, he went on to establish Port Huron Marine Service. He had a great passion for boats and boating and was an exceptional marine mechanic.

Frank's family will miss him deeply. He also had MANY great friends that will as well. He was the sort of friend ”you could call in the middle of the night in the middle of a snow storm stranded in Ohio” and he’d be on his way immediately (his own description of a true friend).

Frank would not want us to mourn his loss, but celebrate his life! He would want us to relay stories of his life's adventures and enjoy the memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Lions Club, 2270 Water Street, Port Huron.
