Lloyd Lepien

Lloyd John Lepien, 90, of Clyde Township, died Sunday, August 22, 2021.

He was born October 23, 1930 in Greenwood Township to the late Phillip and Emma Lepien. He married Carol A. Lester on October 21, 1950 in Port Huron.

Lloyd was a 1949 graduate of Port Huron High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Ogden & Moffett as an accountant for many years prior to his retirement. He was a founding member of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carol; son, Greg (Marcia) Lepien; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura McLeod; granddaughter, Jennifer Buckner; brother Leo Lepien; and sister, Viola Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend William Davis will officiate.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army.
